Google with its new services have launced many exciting services sometimes globally and somtimes only for one or two countries, and not for global people. Here is another instance where Google has offered Google SMS Channels only for India.
You can set channels(groups) of your choice, to easily start posting SMS updates from your cellphone and people can subscribe to your channel to receive updates. Google SMS Channels have already got some very nice channels. Although general categories are most popular channels right now.
For blog owners this is exciting new service to pop put there blog updates/feeds to their readers, which will surely increase their traffic to ten folds.
This is sort if similar service SMS Gup Shup, got successful with the help of webaroo, and techy geeks say this is to compete with the original idea of SMS Gup Shup, and to beat it.
This service is just out from Google Labs, and may be google is trying to test and expertise it in India first then to annouce it globally. But may be !
Third world Countries like Pakistan which is India’s neighbour country hold a great market share in mobile market, and this type of service will no doubt increase the user ship and membership of Google in Pakistan.
So here we recommend the responsible people to let this service also announce in other countries, like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia etc.
