After Mozilla its now chrome to which developers and plugin coders are looking forward to give it a new look and finding new ways to do new and exciting things within, as there are many active forums dedicated for chrome now.
Google Chrome Dual View hacks is the simplest way to get dual view in the browser. No add-ons, no real hack is required to implent to enjoy split browsing. All you have to add a bookmark and you will be able to surf two websites in one go.
Simple bookmark "Dual View" in your browser. When you will click this bookmark you will be asked two times for the URL to view in each split window.
I have tested this feature with my Twitter main stream line and the Replies page, as I sometimes don't access twitter with the desktop clients but for some reason it didn't helped me.
