Among very malware and virus that stuck our Laptops and Pc every next day, New folder.exe virus is the most deadly and irritating one. It infects your every folder and creates a useless folder with the name New Folder. This folder is itself replicating virus in form of executeable files.
This virus will also disable your task manger, Folder Options, RegEdit so that user is unable to disable this virus.
How to Remove ? If you are not able to remove the New Folder virus from softwares better try to do it manually, simply follow the steps carefully mentioned here.
- Delete Autorun.inf from your external conductivities or disable Auto Run feature.
- Now click on Start, and open System Configuration Utility by selecting Run and typing msconfig.
- Go to startup tab there and uncheck (de-select) suspicious entries like Newfolder or regsvr.exe
- Now you have to disable already running Newfolder or regsvr.exe, do it by opening Task Manager
- Now go to Registry, open it up by typing Regedit in Run. Search for regsvr.exe or newfolder.exe. If found delete these two entries immediately.
- After completing upto this you are almost done. Just to make it fresh, restart your Pc.
Up-to this you have removed this virus from your PC, now simply get a good anti-virus and keep your external connectives like USB, CD on disabled autorun thing.
